Rebecca got a NEW JOB!

Updated: Mar 13, 2019

Big news! After almost three years, I am leaving the National Center for Transgender Equality to go work for the Sierra Club, one of the world’s premiere environmental groups. In particular, I will joining the Beyond Coal campaign as Associate Press Secretary, working to move the United States from coal power to more environmentally friendly alternatives.

My time with NCTE over the past three years has been incredible, in large part due to working with activists and advocates from all across the country. I hope that you’ll continue to support NCTE’s important work in the fight for the legal rights of transgender people; I know that I will!

To answer the most common question I've been getting, I'll be staying put in DC for the time being: The Sierra Club helpfully gave me the flexibility to stay put through the end of my  lease, July 31. After that, I'll have to figure out what makes the most sense: Staying in DC, returning to Chicago to join the Club's midwest office, or something else entirely. Stay tuned!

All good things, -Rebecca
