Rebecca Kling, a Chicago Fringe Fest veteran, uses her poignant and humorous solo show to expose audiences to more transgender narratives, which continue to be sparse in mainstream media. Adjusting to the titular new vagina since last December, she shares the highs and lows of a life-altering change that she knows she was meant to have but still finds altogether unfamiliar. Her smart mix of frank discussion and observational humor (think Big Vagina and the toilet-paper lobby) triggers unexpected self-reflection. Don’t forget questions for a strip Q&A at the end.
